Over the last year, I have experimented with a number of different promotional strategies. Recently, I heard the intriguing suggestion of staggered promotions for series titles, and I am not adverse to trying something new, at least once.
So I have enrolled all of my titles in Amazon’s KDP Select program, in order to try out a rolling free promotion during the month of May. On each of the following dates, one or two of my titles will be available on Amazon.com for free download.
Sunset will be free on May 12.
Sunrise will be free on May 14.
Moonlight will be free on May 16.
Radiant Burn and The Best of Times will be free on May 21.
Starlight will be free on May 23.
If it works out, I might see about doing it again sometime. According to the terms of the KDP Select Agreement, from May to July, all of my books will be available exclusively from Amazon.com, and have been withdrawn from all other distribution platforms, including B&N, Smashwords, and Wattpad. For users of e-readers other than kindle, consider trying out one of Amazon’s free reading apps.

Thank you very much for this Mr Ahsanuddin. I am enjoying Sunset very much and will be delighted to have the rest of the series free. Vet bills swallow all of my disposable income so I would not have been able to buy them.
Just for those people who have other e-readers than Kindle, did you know that Calibre can be used to convert Kindle format books to epub? Calibre is free to download and very reliable.
There appears to be a glitch in the Amazon US kindle store which is preventing free promotions today (May 12). I may have to reschedule today’s free promotion to another date. I will update as new information becomes available.
The May 12 Sunset promotion is to be rescheduled. The other promotional dates remain in play. Tune in Monday for the free day for Sunrise.
Looks like Amazon have not honoured your free promotion of Radiant Burn and The Best of Times which were scheduled for today.
