The Eyes of the Dead

Today I have another vampire author on board for the Indie Writers Unite! blog tour.  Please give a warm welcome to G. R. Yeates, author of the novel The Eyes of the Dead.

He was born in Rochford, Essex and studied Literature & Media at the Colchester Institute. He has lived in China where he taught English as a foreign language for one year. A life-long interest in the First World War and world mythology inspired his series The Vetala Cycle. He writes every day and sleeps very little. (more…)

Trouble Down South and Other Stories

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a short story as an invented prose narrative shorter than a novel usually dealing with a few characters and aiming at unity of effect and often concentrating on the creation of mood rather than plot.  Trouble Down South and Other Stories by Katrina Parker Williams is a collection of 12 short stories organized in chronological order that touch upon various facets of the African-American experience in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
